METHOD FILMS was founded by producer and filmmaker Milton Raposo. It runs alongside the client based METHOD MEDIA which he started in 2012. Method Films has produced documentary films (and countless videos) that shine a light on topics like declining shark populations, heroin addiction in Bermuda and many history & biography films.

In November 2019, METHOD released its biggest project to date: FABRIC: Portuguese History in Bermuda which debuted to four consecutive sold out screenings. A decade in the making, FABRIC tells the 170 plus year story of the Portuguese community that has helped shape Bermuda into the country that it is today. While Hometown Hero (2016) is about how the city of Minneapolis reacted when its most famous native, music icon Prince, suddenly passed.

So much of Bermuda is familiar, sometimes over familiar. It can feel like nothing really ever happens but Bermuda is actually full of stories. Despite its small size, Bermuda can surprise you at times with the unexpected. They are the histories of an island country and its inhabitants. Not only are they meant to entertain but they are stories to tell, teach, show and learn from. The hunt for a story is always on.

METHOD FILMS has always operated with two principles: “Tell The Whole Story” and “Show Me Something I’ve Never Seen Before”. These precepts have been at the core of the documentary films that METHOD FILMS have produced since 2012.

“This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and even it can inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise, it's nothing but wires and lights in a box.”
